The Mindfulness Network offers a comprehensive programme of teacher training that is suited to those wanting to learn foundational skills in delivering mindfulness within their professional context, those wanting to embark upon an internationally renowned Teacher Training Pathway (TTP) in Mindfulness-based Approaches and, for those already trained, that want to hone their skills through continued professional development.
Our teacher training programme is delivered in collaboration with the Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice (CMRP) at Bangor University (BU), established in 2001. Our trainers are senior teachers and trainers within CMRP and Bangor University continues to be the issuing body for certificates of competency. Bangor University and the Mindfulness Network work closely together in the ongoing development and quality assurance of our teacher training events.
If you are interested in training to become a Mindfulness Teacher, there are three training routes to consider:
Individual Training Events
The Teacher Training Pathway (TTP)
Masters in Mindfulness programme
Commission training with the Mindfulness Network / CMRP
We also offer commissioned training courses and work with partner organisations – both in the UK and abroad – to offer either the full Teacher Training Pathway or individual training events. Our commissioned trainings are all delivered by the core CMRP training team. If you would like to discuss commissioned CMRP teacher training through the Mindfulness Network, please contact our Business Director, Ruth McDonald: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Come and meet the training team at one of CMRP’s free online sessions (via Zoom)
This is an opportunity to simply log on and connect with one of our CMRP team to have a short mindfulness practice and, if you wanted to stay on, to find out more about the three training routes outlined above and to ask any questions you may have. If you just fancy joining us for the online mindfulness lunchtime practice, you are most welcome. The times and dates of these session are listed in our PRACTICE page.
